Cuban deputies today began ordinary meetings, gathered in the 10 permanent work commissions of the National Assembly of People''s Power, said the website of the legislative body.

The deputies discussed internal functioning issues, such as the activity plans for the second half of this year, the report said.

It was also learned that in the Economic Affairs Committee, the Ministry of Finance and Prices reported on the liquidation of the State budget for 2017.

This commission, together with that of Constitutional and Legal Affairs, will prepare the report that both will present to the plenary next Saturday, the text refers.

Before the end of the day, it is planned to begin the study of the Draft Constitution by the deputies in their respective committees, said the Cuban Parliament.

According to the announcement, the work in commissions must culminate on Friday, and the First Ordinary Session Period of the Ninth Legislature of the National Assembly of People's Power is scheduled for Saturday.
